An Assistant HR Business Partner will cultivate a strong relationship with business leaders and employees, and an understanding of business priorities to develop and execute HR strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement. In addition, they will own the implementation of programs and collaborate closely with the broader HR team. They will use their strong judgment, problem-solving skills, and flexibility to proactively provide business leaders with recommendations in the areas of performance management, employee relations, team development, and the overall employee experience.

Requirements:

1-3 years of progressive generalist experience. -
Preferred experience working in the IT Industry.

Preferred experience working in a remote environment.

Broad People & Culture knowledge, and the ability to facilitate the delivery of People & Culture advisory services to the business.

Strong decision-making skills with a deep understanding of the people and culture function.

Knowledge of People & Culture functions and best practices.

Understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations.

Personal responsibility to see issues through to resolution and meticulous attention to detail.

Strong team management skills.
